Near Shinshiro City Aichi JP, where the JAPAEAR factory is located, lies the 450-year-old ancient battlefield of Shitaragahara. Aichi Prefecture is the place where Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Hashiba and Ieyasu Tokugawa, all Japanese old Samurai kings existed, and it can truly be called the Capital of Samurai.
We have used the character ‘斬（Cutting by sword in Japanese)’ in the product name of these earphones. We wanted to embed in the product name a kanji character derived from ‘SAMURAI’, a character associated with a certain place of birth.
斬shin has a bare form with the cabinet stripped away. The developers call them open-ended, but we do not recommend blasting these earphones in a crowded train. There will be sound leakage. But this ‘sound leakage’. coincidentally had the effect of transmitting sound to the brain outside the audible bandwidth that can be picked up by the eardrum through the skin of the ear.
As mentioned on the TOP page, the drivers in the JAPAEAR earphones reproduce an ultra-wide bandwidth of 5 Hz-80 kHz. These are not special drivers. but extend the bandwidth with the craftsmanship of factory engineer.
The sound impression is excellent in terms of presence, space and localisation. It does not construct a three-dimensional sound field. It builds a sense of reality, as if the performer were right in front of you. When the first production lot was purchased by JAPAYEAR followers at a special price for use of monitors, one thing that we did not expect was that it was highly appreciated by PC gamers.
